Vignobles Gonfrier
Founded in 1962 by André Gonfrier, Vignobles Gonfrier is a family-run winegrowing business that has evolved and modernized while remaining faithful to the winegrowing traditions for which the Bordeaux region is renowned. Today, the second generation, represented by Éric and Philippe Gonfrier, is at the helm, carrying on the family heritage with passion and commitment.
Situated between the Garonne and Dordogne rivers, the varied soils combined with a temperate climate create ideal conditions for producing balanced, high-quality wines.
Vignobles Gonfrier places particular importance on sustainable viticulture techniques. By adopting environmentally-friendly practices, such as minimal use of phytosanitary products and soil ploughing, they ensure the preservation of biodiversity and the health of their vines.
Each wine is the fruit of meticulous work, from vine to bottle. Harvesting, often by hand, is followed by meticulous vinification and precise ageing, aimed at expressing the full potential of each vintage. Particular attention is paid to each stage of the process, combining tradition and innovation to create authentic, expressive wines.
Vignobles Gonfrier embodies the excellence and authenticity of Bordeaux wines. Thanks to an exceptional terroir, ancestral know-how and a constant commitment to quality and innovation, they continue to produce wines that seduce the most demanding palates. Faithful to their family roots and open to the challenges of the future, they successfully perpetuate a winemaking tradition that spans generations.
