Château Swan

Château Swan, located in Cadillac on the slopes of Bordeaux, is a quality wine estate dating back to the 19th century. Founded in 1888, the estate extends over 30 hectares. The vines are planted on an exceptional terroir of deep gravel and clay. They are ideally exposed to sunlight on the gentle slopes of the vineyard and benefit from a mild microclimate. The grape varieties grown are Merlot (75%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (25%) for the red wines, and Sauvignon (50%) and Sémillon (50%) for the white wines.

Château Swan stands out for its traditional know-how combined with modern winemaking and ageing techniques. Sustainable viticulture and respect for the environment are at the heart of the estate's concerns. The wines produced by Château Swan are recognized by many specialists.

Tasting Château Swan red reveals an intense crimson color. The nose is complex and elegant, with aromas of ripe fruit (blackcurrant, blackberry) combined with light woody and spicy notes. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and fleshy, with a fine tannic structure. The finish is harmonious, with a pleasant freshness.
